My name is Jessie and I currently live in the beautiful city of Bath in the UK. I am a mat work Pilates Instructor qualified with Pilates Foundation (a UK training company) in Aug 2009. My training was very good but since trying to find work I have found that Pilates Foundation are not as well known as they pehaps led me to believe. I do not feel my 14 months of training were a waste of time though as I think I am a decent Pilates teacher and I enjoy teaching! However, I would like to continue my Pilates education through an apprenticeship if they still exist. All the best instructors I have met or know about trained in this way and if it is still possible to be taught this way then I will move around the world to do so!

I am a keen snowboarder and love the mountains so try to get to the mountains as much as possible through the winter and then do some walks/treks if I am able in the summers too. I am a fun and friendly person who enjoys being inspired by other as well as helping bring inspiration to them.

At the moment I am working as a swimming coach at a local university. I then have a few Pilates classes I teach and I do some sports massage as extra money. The human body’s ability to repair itself fascinates and interests me so I love working with rehabilitation cases. I have worked with some professional athletes helping them with rehab and prehab (injury prevention). My day-to-day clients are just general public and are of all fitness levels though.
